The Entrepreneur

Praveesh Dudhani ​ is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and has worked for organisations such as GreenHat Ventures, CQ Magazine, Educomp Solutions and IndiaCan before co­-founding

Ayush Bansal is a graduate of PESIT, Bangalore, and has an MBA in Finance and has worked
as a research analyst for Evalueserve in the past. He is now the co-­founder of iDreamCareer.

The Challenge

The college dropout rate in India was an estimated 51% in 2010.This has a direct negative impact on the youth employment and human resource output.Students need help to make correct career decisions and the decisions students make in high school also affects their
career.Therefore it becomes imperative that students are given assistance at a very early stage so that they can pursue a career of their choice from the get­-go.

The Innovation

Medhavi Foundation has introduced the iDreamCareer model, where they ​ help school and
college students make informed career choices via career assessment test, one-­on-­one
career planning and access to information. They use technology such as online psychometric
tests with career mapping based on the Indian context; entrance exams and scholarship
alert system via SMS and Emails; personalized dashboard for users to explore career and
college information and; an online forum to post queries directly to career experts. Etc, to
empower students

The Impact currently has 2 offices, Delhi (Head Office) and Bangalore,and plans to expand to multiple cities across India.In the last 4 years, has empowered thousands of students across India,Middle East and East Africa to take informed career
decisions,resulting in a reduction in dropout rates and an increase in human resource
