Internet banking

I hate standing in queues. I like to pay for all my utilities and purchases on the internet. I do all my banking on the net. I have a cheque book that was issued to me 7 years ago and I have yet to go through half of it. The only services that haven’t adopted internet banking payment are Aavin  and the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. The down side is that since I live near the coast our computer breaks down every month and all this bliss goes away. Has anyone figured out how to protect the computer against dust and salty moist air?
